Post date: 2016-02-25

MACAO - Forbes Travel Guide unveiled its annual Star Rating List recently and has once again named The Venetian Macao as a Four-Star Hotel in recognition of the hotel’s service and facilities.

“It is tremendous honour for us to receive this four-star rating from Forbes,” said Bede Barry, Vice President, Hotel Operations of The Venetian Macao and Sands Cotai Central. “Every award signifies that we are doing exactly what we set out to do, which is to give our guests the best possible experience while they are with us. The awards are also a testament to the consistently high level of service that our staff provide to our guests and confirmation of our excellence in the hospitality industry.”

Offering unrivalled duty-free shopping and entertainment, The Venetian Macao is the most instantly recognisable property on the Cotai Strip. Attracting millions of visitors every year, it is the only place in Macao where you can shop at over 650 duty-free shops, eat at Asia’s only Michelin-starred Indian restaurant, and watch world-class entertainment in either the 15,000-seat Cotai Arena or the 1,800-seat luxury Venetian Theatre!

This year, Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao hotels have been awarded a total of 18 stars by Forbes Travel Guide, The integrated resort is comprised of The Venetian Macao (four stars); The Plaza Macao, featuring the Four Seasons Hotel Macao (five stars); and Sands Cotai Central, featuring the Conrad Macao, Cotai Central (five stars) and the Holiday Inn Macao, Cotai Central (four stars).

Originally created in 1958 in the United States, the Forbes Travel Guide is recognised worldwide as America’s original hospitality star rating system and its inspectors travel the world to experience and rate the very best hotels, restaurants and spas for their readers.
